PMET Resources Inc. (TSX: PMET)(OTCQX: PMETF) — formerly Patriot Battery Metals — has reported the widest and highest-grade cesium intercepts to date from diamond drilling at the Vega Zone within the CV13 pegmatite at its 100%-owned Shaakichiuwaanaan lithium-cesium project in Quebec’s James Bay region.
The latest results include standout intercepts of 28.0 meters at 8.05% Cs₂O and 2.2 meters at 26.48% Cs₂O, marking the strongest cesium mineralization returned from the project to date and reinforcing the Vega Zone as a core growth driver within a globally significant lithium-cesium system.
These results form a key part of PMET’s extensive 2025 drill campaign at Shaakichiuwaanaan, designed to systematically delineate and expand mineralization across the project’s known pegmatites.

As part of the program, PMET completed further delineation drilling at the Vega and Rigel Zones within CV13, confirming continuity and scale of high-grade pollucite-hosted cesium mineralization.
In addition, high-grade cesium mineralization has now been confirmed at the Helios Zone discovery, underscoring the growing footprint of cesium within the broader CV13 system.
PMET Resources Executive Vice President Exploration Darren L. Smith commented on the latest positive cesium results from Shaakichiuwaanaan via press release:
“Shaakichiuwaanaan continues to deliver impressive results, with the 2025 drill campaign returning the highest cesium grades reported to date at the Property – including a peak assay of 29.8% Cs2O – and confirming high-grade cesium at the newly discovered Helios Zone. With multiple intercepts exceeding 25% Cs2O, dominant pollucite mineralogy, and scale already demonstrated through defined Mineral Resources, the opportunity for the Company to further enhance shareholder value through this cesium deposit is meaningful. We look forward to reporting cesium results for the remaining holes outstanding and integrating this opportunity into the overall Project development scenario.”
While this release highlights the strongest cesium results returned to date, PMET notes that additional high-grade intervals were also intersected across the 2025 program.

Importantly, cesium results remain pending for multiple holes at the Helios Zone, providing further near-term news flow. In total, cesium assay results for 1,176 meters (7 holes) have yet to be reported from the 57,024 meters (245 holes) completed during the 2025 drill campaign.
Lithium and tantalum assay results for all 245 holes have been reported with cesium assays to follow as they are received and compiled.
Beyond the headline grades, the latest drill results underscore the strategic significance of Shaakichiuwaanaan as a world-class, multi-metal lithium deposit enhanced by what is now recognized as the largest pollucite-hosted cesium resource globally.
Lithium remains the foundation of the project’s development pathway, underpinning scale, economics, and long-term production potential.

Cesium adds a rare and highly valuable element — one that is increasingly important given constrained global supply and growing demand across advanced technologies, energy storage, and next-generation solar applications.
All of this is unfolding within Quebec’s James Bay region, a Tier-1 Canadian jurisdiction characterized by stable permitting, strong government support, established infrastructure, and deep community partnerships.
That jurisdictional advantage significantly de-risks development and enhances the strategic appeal of PMET’s multi-critical-metal platform at a time when Western markets are seeking secure and transparent supply chains.
Looking ahead, PMET’s geological team is actively integrating the full 2025 drill dataset to advance host rock and pegmatite models across Shaakichiuwaanaan.
The work is focused primarily on the CV5 and CV13 pegmatites, including the Vega, Rigel, and Helios zones and will inform updates to block models and a subsequent Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).
In parallel, PMET continues to advance toward an updated Feasibility Study targeted for 2H 2026 to further define the development pathway for the CV5 pegmatite. Drill data from the 2025 campaign will also support an underground bulk sample of mineralized pegmatite at CV5, which is currently progressing through permitting.
Together, these initiatives reflect a methodical progression from discovery and delineation toward resource growth, feasibility, and eventual development/production at Shaakichiuwaanaan.
With high-grade cesium results continuing to emerge and additional assays pending, PMET Resources continues to advance one of North America’s most strategically important lithium-cesium deposits.
The advanced-stage project combines world-class scale, rare critical-metal optionality, and the advantages of a Tier-1 jurisdiction as global demand for secure critical-mineral supply continues to accelerate.
