Metals explorer Midas Gold Corp (TSX: MAX, OTCQX: MDRPF)  today unveiled further positive results from its ongoing resource optimisation drill program at the Stibnite Gold project in Idaho.

The program is aimed at enhancing the mineral resources defined in4 the preliminary feasibility study (PFS) three years ago.

One hole threw up the best results ever reported by the firm, it said.

Stephen Quin, president and chief executive of Midas, said: "The latest assay data from our ongoing drill campaign at Yellow Pine continues to provide positive results that support Midas Gold's goal of enhancing the mineral resource at the Stibnite Gold Project."
