A Condition Census Superb Gem! The early Denver and San Francisco Mint buffalo nickels are very conditionally challenged. The 1924-D is one of the truly rare issues in Superb condition. In 29 years, PCGS has only graded seven examples MS66, with none graded higher. If you do the math, that's one Superb example every four years. This beauty has gorgeous mark-free surfaces.
