Kutcho Copper (TSX-V: KC)(OTC: KCCFF) CEO Vince Sorace on Advancing a Billion Dollar Copper-Zinc Assets with Exploration Upside

Gerardo Del Real: This is Gerardo Del Real with Resource Stock Digest. Joining me today is the president and CEO of Kutcho Copper (TSX-V: KC)(OTC: KCCFF), Mr. Vince Sorace. Vince, it's great to have you back on. How are you today, sir?

Vince Sorace: I'm doing great and yes, it's good to be back. It's been a little while.

Gerardo Del Real: Well, listen, I was preaching for many, many, many, many months about the value proposition that Kutcho presented. And with copper near $6 a pound right now, you have an asset that has a net present value of over a billion dollars if we use current pricing. You're up 167% over the last three months, but despite that, you still have a tiny market cap of just $67 million. So as a shareholder, as someone that has held the company in the portfolio for quite some time, I was delighted to see an outline of district scale exploration potential and the fact that you're taking some urgency to that. I know that shareholders have been asking for quite some time. We didn't have the market. You're being rewarded for that. Can you go over this latest release and just kind of where you are and what comes next?

Vince Sorace: Sure. And this was something that we've thought about for a long time. Last year, the markets, beginning mid-year, were still a little bit soft and we were in discussions with lots of different parties for different types of strategic type transactions, et cetera. And I would say unfortunately we lost and wasted a lot of time with some of those. And given the turn here in the market in the last three months, we're putting heads down and we're going at it ourselves. Not to say that some of the other things couldn't run in parallel, but now it's on our timeline. So there's a lot we can do. Again, as you mentioned, copper prices are up and we've thought and prepared for a couple of years now to go out and talk about and test these exploration targets. So I think it's important for everybody to understand, and if people look around the world where VMS targets reside, there is almost all the time more there than what's originally found.

And at Kutcho, over the 30 or 40 years this thing has been around, when people discovered the three lenses that are there currently that make up our resource and feasibility study, there was just nothing done regionally. They spent their time focusing on, as did we for the last seven years, getting the feasibility study and thinking about permitting and all that kind of stuff. So we're changing the narrative. We did a lot of different types of geophysics, which lit up over 10 regional targets and near resource targets. The geophysics were very important here because we're able to train them on the existing lenses that we have. So what can we filter out? We know what we want to see through the geophysics and can filter out the stuff that, again, training on the existing mineralization.

So there will be some follow-up press releases on exactly what we will be doing in this upcoming drill program and the specific targets that we will be hitting this year out of the 10. But I think the most important thing here to take away is we've got the geological setting, the environment is there. We think there is a district scale play here. And our new mission statement is we want to get out there and try to, through exploration, double the size of our resource. And if we can do that, we add significant value to this project. So that's this year's mission and final planning's in play. And there will be, again, a few more detailed press releases on the specific targets that we're hitting. So maybe we'll talk again in a couple of weeks.

Gerardo Del Real: I have to believe, and I've heard the whispers, and I know that you likely can't comment too much, but I have to believe that with copper being near the $6 level and seeing record prices, that you're getting phone calls and discussions of people that would love to help you develop this asset, especially with the exploration upside. Can you touch on that at all?

Vince Sorace: I'll say yes. There were lots last year, as I said, and we went down a few rabbit holes on that. And for us, in order for us to do something, a transaction ... I mean, listen, I think we're being told by others for years and years, we're one of the best undeveloped copper stories out there. And so people take notice of that, but for us to do a transaction with somebody, a strategic type transaction, whether it's a financing or an M&A type transaction, we want to make sure that it will be accretive to our shareholders. And so that can come in many different forms, what another asset might look like, or the price of a large financing so as to limit dilution. So the answer to your question is yes, and I think it's timing.

Gerardo Del Real: Well, I think your timing is spot on to be exploring all of the options. And I really, really am looking forward to having you back on, Vince, and talking about specific exploration guidance here for the rest of 2026. Anything else you'd like to add?

Vince Sorace: No. I think maybe we should, again, once we put out the targets that we're going to be drilling this summer, maybe we'll get back together in a couple of weeks because they're very exciting and I can talk more specifically around them then.

Gerardo Del Real: Excellent. Sounds good. Appreciate the time as always. Thank you, sir.

Vince Sorace: Thanks, Gerardo.
